Danmark


Lufttryk: Lufttryk er generelt blevet mlt med et aneroid barometer. Mnedsmidler er generelt gennemsnittet af 8 daglige observationer kl. 00, 03, 06, 09, 12, 15, 18 and 21 UTC. Lufttryk bliver ikke mlt p 06186 Landbohjskolen i Kbenhavn, derfor er lufttryksdata i forbindelse med denne station fra Kastrup Lufthavn i Kbenhavn.

Temperatur: Temperaturer er generelt blevet mlt 2 meter over terrn i standard afskrmninger. Mnedsmidler er generelt gennemsnittet af 8 daglige observationer kl. 00, 03, 06, 09, 12, 15, 18 and 21 UTC, bortset fra dele af 06186 Kbenhavn (Landbohjskolen) serien. 

Fra november 1995 er temperaturen nemlig blevet mlt med en nyetableret sensor og observationer fra denne kl. 00, 03, 06, 09, 12, 15, 18 and 21 UTC er brugt til beregningerne. Fr juni 1997 har der tillige vret beregninger af temperaturen baseret p 3 daglige manuelle observationer af temperaturen (kl. 7, 13 og 20 lokal vintertid) og flgende formel er brugt:

I overlappet (1995/11  1997/6) mellem den gamle og nye station, er et gennemsnit af de 2 temperaturserier benyttet.


Nedbr: Nedbr er generelt mlt 1.5 meter over terrn. De akkumulerede vrdier er beregnet udfra daglige nedbrmngder. En ny type nedbrmler er etableret i 1995 p 06186 Kbenhavn/Landhjskolen. I overlapsperioden 1996 mellem den gamle og nye mler er et gennemsnit mellem den nye og gamle dataserie blevet brugt.

Specific station notes for World Weather Records 1991-2000


Denmark


Pressure: Pressure was in general measured with a aneroid barometer. Monthly means represent in general the average of the eight daily observations made at 00, 03, 06, 09, 12, 15, 18 and 21 UTC. Pressure was not measured at 06186 Copenhagen/Landbohojskolen. At this station, pressure values published in this report were taken from the Copenhagen/Kastrup Airport site.


Temperature: Temperatures was in general measured 2 metres above ground in standard sheltered screens. Monthly means represent in general the average of the eight daily observations made at 00, 03, 06, 09, 12, 15, 18 and 21 UTC. However, 06186 Copenhagen (Landbohojskolen) are different. 

From November 1995 a new temperature  sensor was established and the eight daily observations made at 00, 03, 06, 09, 12, 15, 18 and 21 UTC were used for the temperature means. Before June 1997 the monthly means of temperature at 06186 Copenhagen/Landbohojskolen also were computed as the arithmetic means of the daily mean temperatures bases on 3 daily manual observations (7am, 1pm and 8pm local winter time) , which were obtained according to the formula:

Concerning the period with overlap (1995/11  1997/6) between the old and new station, the mean of the two temperature series was used.


Precipitation: Precipitation was in general measured 1.5 metres above ground. The sums were computed using the daily amounts of precipitation. At 06186 Copenhagen/Landbohojskolen a new raingauge was established in 1995. For the overlap in 1996, average values from the old and new station were used.


The Faroe Islands


Pressure: Pressure was measured with a aneroid barometer. Monthly means represent the average of the eight daily observations made at 00, 03, 06, 09, 12, 15, 18 and 21 UTC. 


Temperature: Temperatures was measured 2 metres above ground in a standard sheltered screen. Monthly means represent the average of the eight daily observations made at 00, 03, 06, 09, 12, 15, 18 and 21 UTC. 


Precipitation: Precipitation was measured 1.5 metres above ground. The sums were computed using the daily amounts of precipitation. 


Greenland


Pressure: Pressure was in general measured with a aneroid barometer. Monthly means represent in general the average of the eight daily observations made at 00, 03, 06, 09, 12, 15, 18 and 21 UTC. 


Temperature: Temperatures was in general measured 2 metres above ground in standard sheltered screens. Monthly means represent in general the average of the eight daily observations made at 00, 03, 06, 09, 12, 15, 18 and 21 UTC. 


Precipitation: Precipitation was in general measured 3 metres above ground. The sums were computed using the daily amounts of precipitation.
